Frequently Asked Questions
What is a vajacial?
A vajacial is a specialized facial for the bikini and pubic area. It includes a gentle cleanse, exfoliation, mask, and targeted treatment for ingrown hairs and dead skin. The treatment is external only; nothing internal is touched at any point.
Should I book a Brazilian wax and vajacial in the same appointment?
Yes — the most common combination. The vajacial is performed immediately after the Brazilian wax to soothe redness, lift any trapped ingrown hairs, and lock in calming product before the skin heals. You can also book a vajacial standalone between waxing visits.
Will a vajacial help with ingrown hairs?
Yes. Ingrown management is the core purpose of the treatment. Gentle exfoliation lifts the skin barrier over trapped hairs and the licensed esthetician extracts them safely. Consistent vajacials (every 4–6 weeks) dramatically reduce recurring ingrowns.
Does a vajacial hurt?
No. The treatment is intentionally gentle — a vajacial uses cleansers, exfoliants, and masks formulated for sensitive skin. There may be mild sensation during ingrown extraction; otherwise the appointment is relaxing.
Who should not get a vajacial?
Skip the treatment if you have active infection, open wounds, recent surgery, or are within the first six weeks postpartum. Tell us about recent retinoid use, antibiotics, or skin conditions when booking — we may adjust product selection.
How often should I get a vajacial?
Every 4 to 6 weeks, paired with your Brazilian wax. This cadence keeps ingrowns to a minimum and the skin clear and smooth between waxing visits.
